I bought these for Christmas presents for myself and fellow senior citizens. They feel wonderfully comfortable, but I haven't heated one yet. It seems to fit well on the shoulders, In fact, I thought that it might help soothe arthritis pains in the neck and shoulder. The heated pockets are in just the right place for me. I think the idea of a zippered pocket is a good one, for cash and credit card when you're just going to the shops, and don't need to carry a pocket book, and I look forward to using it as the weather gets colder..

It was what I had been looking for; a special gift for a friend who had gotten a teaching job and the classroom was often cold. So, I thought it would be perfect. Unfortunately, my husky/malamute also thought it was just what he was looking for and chewed the microwavable packet. Now I have to buy a new one for this special friend, luckily she is in a warmer classroom right now.

great looking scarf! the microwavable feature is a plus, it stays warm for at least an hour. On the downside..a little heavy and bulky.
