Good shape, but could be wider and cover more of the upper back, nape of the neck. Still does an appropriate job.

The insert for this product that contains the rice and flax has only a little baffling with only a little bit of grain in each one. It weighs about the same or even a little less than my tube-shaped The Original Bed Buddy Hot & Cold Pack, yet it is to provide heat to a much larger area. I find that it does not generate heat nearly as long as my other rice products, which I suspect is due to the fact that less grain is spread out of a larger area so it cools more quickly. As another reviewer noted it is hard to keep grains distributed evenly if you are in an upright position. This wouldn't be such an issue if there was more baffling and a bit more grain. Too much grain will get too heavy, but I think this product could withstand some more.
I bought this when I was suffering from some muscle pain in my shoulders and neck. Working out in front of myself on a computer and such was causing me trouble. I'm glad I ordered it because it was some instant relief with no effort on my part aside from typing in my credit card number, but I may be making myself another insert for the cover once I'm feeling a bit better and can sit at the sewing machine.

This product does give the moisture along with the heat. The only draw back is that it doesn't hold the heat long enough.

I like this neck & shoulder wrap, but it sheds the first couple of times you use it.

Ordered 2 of these as gifts. The people that got them loved them. To me they were a little heavy to wear on your shoulders. The shipping takes a long time - so just be aware when you order this.
