good price, comfortable, easy to use, stays cold around 1 hour April 20, 2008 No complaints about this ankle wrap, which I used several times a day following surgery. Easy to get on and off, soft; the boot even stays on when walking short distances.
Therapy December 13, 2007 This is the exact product I use with my physical therapy for a broken ankle with 2 surgeries. I will be using this product long term. This is the best cold therapy I have found. Since it is used by my therapy, I feel it is the best on the market. Thank you.
elasto gel for foot June 13, 2007 1 out of 1 found this comment useful.
The product easily molds to the foot and/or ankle. It gets sufficiently cold, indeed you need to place it over a sock usually. It certainly helps reduce swelling and tendonitis. I would recommend this product for anyone needing to "ice" the ankle or foot.
Great for Shoulders Too April 12, 2007 2 out of 2 found this comment useful.
My chiropractor lent me hers after I had arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Even though it's designed for ankles, it works great on the shoulder also. I felt that it stayed cold long enough and was really impressed in the supple flexibility of the material. Unlike other ice packs I'd used which only touched part of the area, it really made contact and could be adjusted in many ways with the velcro. I would highly recommend this product -- I'm buying my own today!
OK, but we have used better March 12, 2007 2 out of 6 found this comment useful.
Well, it shipped on time, easy to buy, and the design is good. But as a hot cold pack it lacks staying power. I know the descriptions stated it would stay cold 20-40 minutes. It might make 20 minutes, if you have a slow watch. For someone with cronic (sp>?) pain, it just doesn't do the trick. As soon as it starts to give some relief it starts to lose it coolness.
