Less well-made eyemasks don't really block light. It's hard to get to sleep on planes, in airports, etc, with them. But this one is well made and molds itself to your eyes and skull. It's comfortable too, since there are recessed pockets to prevent the eye-pillow from putting pressure on your eyeballs. After trying one out a couple of times, I bought 3 more, all at once, in case they stop making this thing. It's too good to be without.

I purchased this product for my daughter-in-law who suffers migraines on a daily basis. Having had them all her life she claims only surgery will help. She felt the eye pillows are good for her in the morning to cover her eyes from piercing daylight, however the beads do not retain the cold very long. I have tried this myself for mild headaches and find it soothing.

I purchased this mask (or one just like it) years ago. Unfortunately, my dog "ate" it and I haven't been able to find anything like it since...until now. This is the best mask for easing my migraine suffering. I've tried other masks since losing my first one, but none come close to providing the relief this mask does. The weight provides perfect pressure to cheeks, forehead and around the eyes. Light is completely blocked. I wouldn't recommend it as a sleeping mask, as it won't stay put when rolling over. I highly recommend it for headache sufferers, though.

It's a bit heavier than I liked but the stitching for the eyelid area is great as it keeps the mask from pressing on the eyeball itself. I've used it as a sleep mask mostly. Would've liked for the elastic to be a bit wider and sturdier. Feels flimsy and can allow the mask to slip some when turning over in bed.
