While it is not the traditional red-rubber hot-water bottle, it makes no difference. Nothing is better when one is stuck indoors on a cold fall/winter day/night than using this hot-water bottle to warm cold feet, etc.
Having a sweater or fleece cover is occassionally in order, but, more often than not, no cover is the way to go.
