55yr old skin type June 9, 2008 The "firming" quality of this lotion is relative to your own skin type, but my crepy, 55yr old skin appears smoother and tighter after using it. The fragrance is long lasting (even though I can't smell it) so I can use it alone, or with other Amazing Grace products. Wonderful product!
Great product March 8, 2007 This is a re-order. Loved it so much that I had to re-order it.
I LOVE IT! March 23, 2006 3 out of 3 found this comment useful.
I am 66 and have some aging of my skin, epecially noticeable on my chest, neck and top of shoulders. This lotion makes me feel and look dewy and young again. One of my daughters gave me a gift set for Christmas and I have been using all the products, the body cream, the hair and body shampoo, the parfum spray and the lotion. The scent is sublime. I really enjoy taking a shower and luxuriating in the softness and the heavenly scent. I can't imagine anyone not liking the scent. My one complaint is that the parfum spray isn't a little stronger!
Smells so terrible that my husband and I are sick March 18, 2006 1 out of 4 found this comment useful.
I can't believe that I am smelling the same product as the other reviewers. I received a sample of this product in the Hope in a Jar Starter Kit by Philosophy. The rest of the products were great so I was excited to try this one. However, I tried the sample of this lotion and the smell is awful! It smells like that strong perfumey powder that some people sprinkle on the carpet before vacuuming to try to cover up odors. Yuck! My husband and I are both completely naseous from it. I have reshowered, changed my clothes, and washed the blanket I had on me while watching TV for only about 1/2 an hour after putting this lotion on. I can't get away from the smell! I am about ready to go take my third shower today, otherwise I don't think that we will be able to sleep tonight.
I don't like the smell so much that it inspired me to write my first review ever on Amazon. My suggestion... smell it first in a store before purchasing to make sure you can tolerate any of the "Amazing Grace" products from Philosophy. I am a fan of many of their other products, but this one is terrible!
This is good, but Derma Step is still the best! February 12, 2006 0 out of 9 found this comment useful.
I had tried all kinds of skin care systems, with different levels of success, but in the end, the Derma Step system works the best, with long standing results. You can get a free trial and see for yourself here: http://snipurl.com/dermastep
