 Peptides for your eyes January 25, 2008

philosophy has done it again! We all know what peptides do for our skin; now we have them for our eyes. I have tried many expensive products claiming to de-age your eyes. I saw almost no difference. eye believe isn't cheap but boy! does it run rings around the competition. An added plus is how velvety it sweeps onto your delicate eye area. The consistency is not of a cream but more like a rich serum. I have not seen an eye product of this consistency before, and with me pushing 60 I have tried a lot of eye products. I firmly believe that my skin preservation, which is wonderful, is due for the most part to the philosophy products. Of course sun exposure, air pollution and genetics play a part. But I have countered the first two for my mature life with intense and continued use of high SPF (including my eye area and neck) which goes a long way toward beautiful skin. Philosophy makes wonderful SPF products which have been a great help. I cannot stress how important it is to use high SPF every day, even on cloudy days.
If you want to prevent further aging of the eye area and also treat what damage you have, I cannot recommend a product more highly. Used both morning and night you WILL see a difference with continued use. We did not get our crows feet and wrinkles in a day, so don't expect immediate results. It takes a little bit of time. The eye area is almost like crepe paper. Once you stretch it you cannot reverse it. But eye believe does a darn good job of not only prevention but also repair. Yes, eye believe.

I purchased this product once before and thought it was good but as I age, I am always looking for a product, or line of products that will help with those age lines around the eye--I believe is my magic bullet. Now I don't want to mislead anyone--it's not perfect, but will soften just a bit more those crows feet or lines that we all seem to get.
It is very emolliant and I apply hope in a jar for the eye afterwards, twice a day and see marked improvement over the course of a few weeks. I would recommend this product for anyone with an aging eye or as one begins to think they are seeing small wrinkles.
