Doesn't moisturize January 15, 2008 I am a fan of Bare Minerals makeup but I am totally disappointed in this product.
I purchased this lip balm because I read a few good reviews online and I personally love coffee-type kind of scents. This lip balm doesn't moisturize, I don't have especially dry lips, my lips are easy to take care of, but this lip balm can't even give me the basic level of moisture. I use it under my Lancome Juicy Tube most of the time, but it dries out my lips almost everytime. And when I put it over my chapped lips, it makes it even worse, lips hurts evern more.
The only Pro is that the coffee scent is very nice, just a bit of scent, but not too overpowering, other than the scent, nothing is really good about it. If it really moisturize, I don't mind paying the price because it is a very decent brand, however, I feel that most drugstore lip products such as Palmer's & Carmex works waaaaay better, and they are only $2 or $3.
I will not purchase this product again.
A little disappointed... November 16, 2007 I eagerly awaited the arrival of my Bare Escentuals Buzz Latte lip balm. But when I put it on, it actually kind of burned my lips and made them feel dry. And it was thinner and oilier than I expected it to be. I adore Bare Escentuals foundation and all of their other makeup, but this just wasn't as good as I expected it to be.
I actually prefer plain old Chap Stick.
Very nice balm October 25, 2007 0 out of 1 found this comment useful.
I use this balm with the glimmers and true to add sparkle to my lips, it works great this way!

I am a lip balm maniac. Bare Escentuals did a good job on this one. I love how smoothly it goes on, doesn't leave my lips feeling sticky and I really like the coffee scent. The scent is pretty strong so if you don't like the smell of coffee this one's not for you.
Good Product June 5, 2007 2 out of 2 found this comment useful.
I love Bare Escentuals make up, and bought the balm mainly for the purpose of dipping it in their powders for a natural lip color. That's a fun feature of the balm...and works with other shimmer powders not made by bare escentuals. It doesn't leave your lips in need of more balm, like I've found with other chap sticks. $8 is a bit pricey, but it is larger than chap sticks bought at the drugstore. Smells very yummy!
