5 out of 5 stars It really works!   September 24, 2008
My son has had molluscum for about 6 months, and it was just not going away. His doctor prescribed Retin A, but all that did was burn his skin and turn it bright red. I was just about to call about getting them removed by freezing or burning when I found Zymaderm at Amazon. The reviews looked promising, so I figured we would give it a try.... Well, it is just 2 weeks later and his molluscum is gone, and all that is left are a few small red scars. We are thrilled with the results. Don't hesitate to buy it!

5 out of 5 stars Worked better than SilverCure   September 23, 2008

Our son started with only two small bumps on his side for about 5 months. One more showed up on his lower back, this is the one that burst and caused it to spread.

I can't complain much because he has a total of 10 bumps on his back and side. We tried SilverCure for three weeks. We saw some improvement but it was always a challenge. He didn't want to sit still and he picked at the liquid bandaid.

After a few searches we found Zymaderm. In four days the bumps had dried up and now 10 days later they are almost gone. The only thing left is some dry skin. There is some discoloration of the skin where the bumps are but I don't know if that is from the SilverCure liquid bandaid or Zymaderm. That's a small price to pay for it to be gone.

Three small bumps popped up on his wrist but I applied Zymaderm right away and they are almost gone too. If you are consistent it may work. Try it. If it doesn't work be consistent again and get a refund.

Good luck.

5 out of 5 stars I am amazed! Totally a Miracle!   September 9, 2008

My son started getting a few bumps about 6 weeks ago. I took him to the Dr. and she said the only thing they could do was burn them off like warts, or put acid on them. I chose acid because she said it wouldn't hurt. He probably had 20 at the time and within a week they had mulitiplied to over 300. Yes you read that right 300! The majority were on his legs around the thigh and knee, but he also had them on his elbows and ankles and I started majorly panicing. I couldn't even imagine having them all burnt off (he is four, that would be like burning his entire body) or having to wait 6 months to a year. I started keeping him fully covered in socks, pants, and long sleeved shirts (not fun when it is 90 degrees outside) and I wouldn't let him swim or play with his friends.

I read the reviews on Amazon about ZymaDerm and figured that more of them were positive than negative and it was worth a try.

I applied it 4 days in a row and haven't used it since. They immediately began to dry up, the center of them scabbed (the size of a pin needle...tiny) and his skin got really dry. But it worked!!! I haven't even used it since those first 4 days because almost all of the bumps are gone, and the really big ones are almost gone. I used the body wash today and will apply more zymaderm tonight, but I don't think I'll have to use it again! Am I amazed YES. Is it a miracle...YES! We prayed a lot and my cute little 4 year old said about 10 prayers a day. So cute! I'm not sure if it will work for everyone, but it my case, with preschool starting and gymnastics etc...it cured him so quickly. Amazing! I couldn't be happier and will use it again and again if it ever comes back. What a great alternative to huge scarring from burning!

Thanks ZymaDerm and Thanks Amazon reviewers!

1 out of 5 stars There ARE Risks   September 6, 2008
First application I got physically nauseous from the smell but by the next day I had become used to it. Killed off the first lesion I noticed right away. I had about ten of them when I started using this product. Around week three a couple small ones disappeared. They did not "fall off" like other customers claimed, just shrank and were no more. I held in for a fourth week because I had read reviews where people called the help line and were asked to give it another week and if no improvement they would get some body wash that would boost the effectiveness. I noticed now that a couple more did literally drop off. THEN CAME THE RASH. An allergic reaction! Like another reviewer's poor daughter I am itching like crazy, red, inflamed. THE SURROUNDING SKIN HAS BEGUN TO PEEL. I was paranoid that I was going to spread it to other parts of my body before! NOW, I'm afraid it's going spread due to the extra sensitivity of the area. I've been using an analgesic creme for the past two days.

5 out of 5 stars It is a Miracle!!!   August 27, 2008

My 3 year old son had a few molluscum that within a few weeks multiplied to over 100 under on his arms, down his side, down his back and then to his knee. The dermatologist froze a few and put beetlejuice on a few, but it was painful and caused scarring and was traumatic. Over the counter wart acid burned terribly. Finding Zymaderm on the web, I decided to give it a try. As an attorney, I figured I could complain to the AG's office if it was snake oil and get my money back. I worried for nothing as the product is great, albeit stinky. Within a month, all but one of his mollescum have totally disappeared and no new ones are appearing. It may look somewhat worse before it gets better, but it works if you keep putting it on at night. Thanks for this miracle cure!! My son can now start preschool.
