Smells delicious and works great too November 29, 2008 I have sensitive and acne-prone skin so facial care products are one of the few categories of beauty products where I don't feel bad splurging. I first became acquainted with Bliss products three years ago after a stay at a W Hotel and have been addicted ever since. While this product is a bit pricy, a little goes a long way. I have found that a dime-sized puddle once lathered and foamy is enough to thoroughly wash my whole face. I can easily get by for 3-4 months on a single bottle. It has a lovely, soft scent that is pleasant and fresh without being overpowering. It also is great for sensitive skin in that it is not harsh or abrasive and yet, still does a good job of cleaning thoroughly and keeping blackheads and acne at bay. I've found that it does a good job of both helping me combat greasy skin in the summer and minimizing the over drying that is common for my skin in the winter. I have also never noticed any residue left behind, which because of my temperamental skin is a huge plus. I have also tried the Bliss Clog Dissolving Cleansing Milk, thinking it might be better for my temperamental skin, but did not like it anywhere near as much as this product. Both did a great job of cleaning my skin, removing makeup, and keeping both acne and blackheads at bay. However, as a matter of personal preference I like something that produces a rich lather, which the Cleansing Milk did not. However, if you do not mind having minimal lather you would probably enjoy that product as well. Overall I have been thrilled with this product and will probably continue to buy it in the future. It may cost more than drugstore facial products, but it works great and with judicious use, can last for quite a while. I am giving it 4 stars not because it isn't great (because it is) but because it is a bit pricy and I have found that while cheaper facial cleaners (my personal favorite being the Aveeno line) may not work quite as well, they are certainly a better value for the money. If you do not mind the price tag, however, I think you will be quite thrilled with this cleaner and possibly as hooked on Bliss as I am.
Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash October 20, 2008 I absolutely love this product. Nothing else works as well to keep my face clean and clear! Love it, love it, love it.
my favorite Bliss product January 4, 2008 7 out of 11 found this comment useful.
Whenever I stay at a W Hotel, this is the first product I grab from the Bliss Sinkside Six-Pack ($30 Value) in the bathroom. Yes, I immediately wash my face, silly I know, but I love this stuff! It feels wonderful, smells wonderful, and leaves my face looking wonderful. For years, I would trade with friends - my soapy sap or hair products for their face wash. When I ran out, I'd really miss it! As to the comments about it being too pricey, buying the large size here on Amazon is much more economical than staying at the hotel & bringing home the little travel size. It saves me hundreds of dollars! And seriously, it is no more costly than similar products from department stores. I do switch to another cleanser in the winter when I don't need as strong a product, but that probably doesn't save me any $ - it's from Origins.
Not the Holy Grail, ladies December 17, 2007 3 out of 5 found this comment useful.
This is on "okay" product, mostly overhyped by women who think cosmetics and skincare products are today's new "religion." Hey, I understand the whole obsession, but I've also read Naomi Wolf.
Aside from that, I did try this product, and while I love certain Bliss products (shampoo/conditioner and the new The Youth cream), this doesn't live up to the hype. I just think it's an average cleanser with an overly zesty lemon smell. It could also prove to be drying for some skins.
Works beautifully August 30, 2007 I have skin that can be quite finicky, so I have to be very careful about the products I use. Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is my staple that I use every day for cleansing, and I love it! It is a blue gel with very fine exfoliating beads. Interestingly, it does NOT foam, so the name is a little misleading. But no matter, since it really is fabulous! It takes all of my makeup off and leaves my skin fresh, clean and happy. Best of all, no breakouts. My only caution would be that if you are sensitive to sodium laureth sulfate, you should find another cleanser since FFFW contains that ingredient. Otherwise, this is a great beauty buy. Even though it is a bit pricey, you don't need to use much of it to cleanse your entire face and neck. A winner!
