 works well November 17, 2008
This mask blocks light well. Mine has a very strong lavendar scent, but I got used to it after a few nights. The velcro in the back is sometimes a bother on my head.

Well made; lots of lavender October 20, 2008
This sleep mask seems to be well made and it blocks light completely. I find it to be comfortable as well. The lavender scent is quite strong - good if you want the aromatherapy experience, not so good if you would be distracted from sleep by a fairly strong aroma.

This mask is super conceived and super comfortable and effective. There is a little "pocket" on the bottom of each side of the bottom of the mask - this allows you to adjust the mask so there is absolutely no light that can come in. I sleep with a constant tv on and this mask is a life saver. Bought 3 and will need to buy more for friends. It's absolutely great.

I had at first written a glowing review of this sleep mask, as it is very comfortable and very effective. However, I had to delete that review today. After using the mask every night for about 3 weeks I developed a painful allergic reaction where the elastic touched my face and ears (swelling, redness and pain). After discontinuing use of the mask that cleared up in about 3 days. Be aware that this mask is made in China, and if you have been paying attention to the news you would know that many fabrics coming from there have chemicals in them that are not safe. I have returned unused masks I purchased as Christmas gifts and thrown my used on in the trash. I'll be looking for one made in the USA.
