This is a product that my father used for many, many years. Then it was discontinued in local stores, much to his unhappiness because he was never able to find anything that worked as well, including cortisone products. Dad has been gone for five years, but when I saw that Balneol was again for sale, I decided to try the product. He was right--I guess "Father Knows Best", because even prescription medications are not as soothing as Balneol.

Our family continues to keep a container of Balneol available in our bathroom, especially around colonoscopy time. We first learned about the product in the 70s and seldom have been without it since. You might not need it often, but when you do, it becomes your best friend!

The best stuff for you know where. Immediate cooling. Works best when teamed with Aquaphor. Balneol inside, Aquaphor outside.
