According to the US National Library of Medicine: Molluscum contagiosum is caused by a virus that is a member of the Poxvirus family. This virus is called Molluscipoxvirus Molluscum contagiosum. This is a common infection in children. It is frequently seen on the face, neck, arm pit, arms, and hands but may occur anywhere on the body except the palms and soles. Occasionly, it is seen on the genitals. In adults, molluscum is generally seen on the genitals as a sexually-transmitted disease. Because molluscum produces no serious illness and is not of long-term public health significance, it has not been treated as other sexually-transmitted diseases. The importance is significant in the growing population of immunocompromised people with AIDS,who may develop a fulminating (rapidly worsening) case of molluscum contagiosum. Typically, the lesion of molluscum begins as a small papule which may become raised up to a pearly, flesh-colored nodule. The papule often has a dimple in the center (umbilication). These papules may occur in lines, where the person has scratched. Scratching or other irritation causes the virus to spread in a line or in groups (crops). Molluscum contagiosum is a chronic infection and lesions may persist from a few months to a few years. These lesions ultimately disappear without scarring. Early lesions on the genitalia may be mistaken for herpes or warts but, unlike herpes, these lesions are painless. The virus is contagious through direct contact, as seen in children, but may spread by sexual contact. It can spread on a person from lesions to adjacent normal skin areas.

We have been using this stuff for only a couple of days and they are already going away. They are no longer filled with fluid. We have tried scraping them, popping them, freezing them, and nothing has worked until this. It has a strong smell but is worth the results. I highly recomend this.

We bought this product at the recommendation of our pediatrician. The product came quickly, and we had great expectations for it.
My first obstacle was that it did not come with any kind of applicator, and the "drops" coming from the drop-style bottle were huge (they ran over the molluscum and onto unaffected skin). So I decided to "paint" it on with a small paint brush in order to avoid exposing clear skin to the medicine.
The smaller molluscum warts disappeared within about 3 weeks of beginning the three-times-a-day paintings, but anything larger than a small pin prick did not disappear. We continued using Molluscum No More for 2 full months, until 2 of my 3 sons complained of their skin hurting. Their skin was visibly irritated at several sites. One son with only one site of molluscum had developed a huge patch (about 2 inches diameter) of VERY dry, almost eczema-style skin surrounding his one molluscum area. Another son (who had about 5 different locations of several molluscum warts) had white patches of skin (about 1/2 inch diameter) around 2 sites, which were quite visible compared to his otherwise-tanned skin.
We have finally given up on the Molluscum No More. All 3 of my sons still have most of their molluscum warts still on their bodies, despite 2 full months of treatment. The larger warts did not even reduce in size. We are very disappointed with this product.
Amazing May 12, 2008
I used this product for my 2 and 4 year old with amazing results. I was told after battling this for over a year that the molluscum would have to be burned off. I used this treatment FAITHFULLY as directed and both children were molluscum free after 4 weeks. I am so glad to have saved them the trauma of the other treatment option.

I really liked the ide of an all natural, non-invasive cure for my daughter's molluscum outbreak however this was not. The product did not really work, espeically on the larger warts. It got rid of some of the smaller ones howevere it kept spreading and did not work at all on the larger ones. Disappointing.
